Phase Three is by far the most exciting element to Binge Computer Solutions to me and has a special place in my heart. It’s where being a small business owner and community concious converge to benefit everyone who graces our doorway. In this third, and final phase we get to give back to a community who has supported us through the early growing pains of starting a small business and make sure that any child, or young adult, who wants free access to Wi-Fi will have it.
Our plan in this phase is to have a study center right inside the store with free Wi-Fi, volunteer aids on hand to help in every major subject (and ones who know how to use YouTube for the others 😉), loaner computers and everything else needed to help those who want it and need it. We want every resource available to help young people succeed where they might not have had the same opportunities before we came along. We understand that this plan is ambitious, we also understand that financing something like this is no small task. But we have a plan for that too.
As well as being a brick and mortar we will be applying for a 501c3 for the study assist portion of Binge Computer Solutions. This will better help us to pay for good, reliable, Wi-Fi. It will help us cover the costs of insurance, rent, and security to keep your kids safe from outside influences so they can better focus on what’s important and to lessen the chances of one aspect of the business hurting the other. This, to me, builds a solid business foundation to grow on long after I retire.
This is just the beginning! Our plans on working within the community with scheduled community events, organizing and partnership with other small business owners and community leaders will hopefully build a foundation for generations to come.
